Welcome back!
So today I will introduce myself. Talk about things I like doing and things I don't.
Well, I'm 20 years young, my nationality is Irish but I have Romanian parent. I never know what to answer when people ask me where I'm from as I have an accent, so I just say "I'm a foreign Irish person".
I'm a big fan of sports (NOT FOOTBALL). My favourite sports at this moment are boxing, golf, surfing and the gym. I've done boxing for 5 years but stopped as I wanted to gain size and boxing had way too much cardio in it.
So I joined the gym and I'm addicted to the gym. I train 6 days a week and my weekly gym plan is Push, Pull, Leg day and repeat.
During my Push days I train chest, triceps and shoulders as to train those muscles you do exercises that involve a push motion. For Pull day I train my back, biceps and forearm as those muscles involve a pull motion to train them. And, leg day is just legs (LEAST FAVOURITE DAY IN THE GYM).
The rest of the sports are sports for fun. I don't have goals with any other sport at the moment other than the gym.
I love trying new things out! I have done magic for many years, started I think 3 YouTube channels and so on...
But unfortunately I gave up on YouTube as I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought, but I had a gaming, magic and vlogging channel. I done them at different stages of my life but none of them were enjoyable to do so I gave it up. At the moment I have a leather business in process and I love working with leather!
Now, that really says enough about what I like for now.
I live with my 2 parents, 2 sisters and a dog.
Thats 2 pictures of my dog, Lexie!
If you're wondering what I want to do as a career further done the road. I'm still try to figure that out...
I want to do something to do with being creative anyway as I love creating.
Thats in for today!
I hope you got to learn a few things about me!
See you next time,
Denis.
hi Miculas
ReplyDeleteGood to meet you, first I have to say WOW you work out a lot, I don't have that kind of energy I use to do taekwondo and swimming but I stopped because of collage work . I've got sibling too an older brother and sister and a dog, a cocker spaniel named Rio hes a terrible guard dog but a great door bell.
Damn Denis you have your life together more than I ever could. That's a cute dog there as well we could always use more pictures of that :D.
ReplyDeleteHey Denis,
ReplyDeleteYour life sounds way more interesting than mine, That dog is hella cute and I agree with Justin above, We need more pictures! I cant believe you go to the gym 6 days a week.. Jesus Christ most exercise I get is when i get up for food or maybe the odd dance in the shower but still that is mad.
Sup Denis, I'll be honest, that gym routine sounds pretty rough but I get how addicting it can be but I tend to do more calisthenics myself. It's cool that you're leaving the other sports for just fun tho, they're a great way to stay fit but also just have fun. I can appreciate how you love trying new things cuz I'm like that with a lot of things too, I've also dropped a couple Youtube channels coincidentally. Your dog's absolutely adorable. It's super cool that you're getting your business up and I totally get trying to figure out what you wanna do for the future right now. Good luck man!
ReplyDeleteHi Denis, it's Aoibhe. Lovely introduction post. I enjoyed reading it and learned a lot more about you. I have never stepped into a gym and don't plan to anytime soon haha so fair play to you!! We are complete opposites I hate sports! Wow your leather business sound amazing, Well Done on that! (also ur dogs are so cute) Good luck with this semester. -Aoibhe
ReplyDeleteHey Denis glad to learn more about you. I also hate leg day but currently quit gym because of covid so im not getting any gains only home exercises for me. The YouTube thing is the same for me but always get caught up in editing is never actually release anything. Lexie is super cute. Good luck with the module.
ReplyDeleteHi Denys
ReplyDeleteGreat intro it was very interesting to read about and find out few more things about your life and your interests. He mention that you were doing boxing for 5 years which is impressive because I was doing boxing as well but I only lasted for 2 year's but I still think that was a great time in my life and I think you should come back to it.Overall nice intro and you got a cool dog.
Hey Denis,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading this blog because I haven't spoken to a lot of people in the year so this is a great opportunity to get to know other people in our year. I've always wanted to know how to do some cool magic tricks, always good for parties!! Your gym routine is very similar to mine, keeps me n a good head space probably does the same for you. Hope the leather company goes well and you achieve the targets your working towards, if you put in the work it will surely happen, good luck!!!
Buna Denis, fellow offspring of Romanian parent here! :P Found your blog very unique and interesting. I liked the emphasis you put when you mentioned football, haha. You seem to have a very active lifestyle and I'm hoping to get into a sport myself. I like the idea of surfing but I dont live near the cost and I'm not too great of a swimmer and especially in the current situation its very unlikely :( You've got some lovely shots of your girl, Lexie. She looks adorable! I'm very curious about the leather business you mentioned. It would be nice to see some pictures of things you make with leather. Hope Year 2 is going well for you. - JRLOI

ReplyDeleteHi Denis,
I really enjoyed reading your blog post. I also get confused when answering the question “where are you from?” since I was born in Ireland but my parents are from Vietnam. I just say “Vietnamese slash Irish” to make it simple.
Good to see you living a healthy lifestyle. I could never lol.
I also was obsessed with learning magic tricks as a kid. However, my mam would give out to me for having a deck of cards cause she thought I was gonna be a gambler haha.
I don’t know what to do after college also, all I know is that I want to do something creative. Hopefully you’ll realise what you wanna do after you graduate. Good luck with year 2!
Khang.
Hi Denis, I really enjoyed your blog post, it's great to get to know people in your course via the introduction posts! :) Wow you seem well into your sports! I used to love them but just grew out of them sadly. My family is golf mad but I just don't understand it, I do try though haha! I love that you were into magic I've never known anyone that was, it seems like fun! Do you still remember any of the tricks? Lexie is soooo cute, I'm obsessed!! Best of luck with the rest of the semester :) - Megan
ReplyDeleteHi Denis, I really enjoyed your introduction blog, it was really interesting to find out some stuff about you and you seem to be an interesting person! So you do six days a week in the gym? wow fair play to you haha, I wish I had the motivation to do that haha, four days does me. Thats cool that you like golf, its not that popular to be fair. I used to play it a lot when I was younger but kinda just stopped when I got busier. Its a great thing to do... when the weathers nice haha. Anyways, bets of luck with college this year.
ReplyDeleteHi Denis I'm just after reading your introduction post and I enjoyed it. That is a sport that I would love to do is boxing I just don't think I would have time with work and college I don't even get time to go on a walk most days nevermind start a new sport haha. I also have no idea what I want to do after this I'm hoping by next year or final year I have an idea of what I liked the most. What was it like learning magic? I say that was interesting. Best of luck with this semester- Niamh
ReplyDeleteHey Denis, its Mia here just read your introduction blog post there and it was really good. It was great to learn a bit more about you. It is great that you are so interested in sports I myself am not a huge fan of participating in them but I do love to watch them. Lexie is so cute!!!

Hey Denis.
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading your blog, The best thing to come out of this online learning thing is that I can learn more about people. by just reading their blogs. I'm sorry to hear you don't enjoy making YouTube videos but happy you found a passion in your leather business. Also your doggo Lexie is very cute. I'm looking forward to reading more about you.
