Favourite Game

Hi guys! welcome to my first blog for this year.

Today I will be talking about my favourite video game, which is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. If you like competitive, FPS and team-work games this is a game you should definitely try it out!!! This game is very competitive game. But also based on skills you develop. Different guns have different bullet patterns as you shoot. That makes it harder to shoot as when you move the accuracies of your bullets will be affected. That makes the game very challenging.

I love the game mainly because of how competitive it is and hard it is to get better. I just love a good challenge and this is one of them.

Its very fun if you play with friends and just have a laugh. It gets funny when people get annoyed playing the game.

If you want to play this game you will have to download Steam as thats where you download the game from.

I don't want to ruin the game for you so I will let you experience it yourself as it is a free game and its PC only.

Thank you for your time,

See you all next time,
Denis.

  1. Hey Denis! Just finished reading your blog post on your favourite game being Counter Strike: Global Offensive. I've played this game before and yeah it definitely fun to play with friends, I did stop playing after a while though as fps games aren't my favourite and I'm not that skilled in them but respect to those that are! 😁

  2. Hey Denis
I just finished reading your blog. I have never actually played the game Counter Strike: Global Offenive or any Counter Strike game. But after reading your blog, I am very keen to try it out and see what I think of it. I was wondering if you would implement any of the elements or themes of this game into your own game idea. I'm looking forward to reading more of your blog.

Reading 09

Hi all. This week we have focused on fixing our papers. This was challenging as I find it hard write academically. I am glad to get the chance to improve my writing. For this week I have rewritten my introduction and conclusion as I believe they weren't good. I also fixed up my paragraphs where I found mistakes.  I am pretty happy with how it is at this moment and I am happy to continue on with my weekly tasks after Easter break. I hope everyone will enjoy this break as we all need it. Thank you, Denis.

Doing Reading 05

This week we have broken down my research articles into 6 themes. We had to break down our writings into sentences to shorten it down to find the themes. I have done that before doing my own writings. I found shortened the articles into sentences to help me develop them in my own words. Using those notes I have and rereading my writings I came down to the following themes. The link between Game Progression and Engagement Automating Game Progression Difficulty balance within levels What is Game Progression (Key Elements) Implementing education (eg. chemistry) within game progression The difference between Progression and Emergence Those themes and note will help me write my own bibliography.  I will see you all new week. Thank you, Denis.

Unity Tutorial 06

Hi all, Today we have done our second last tutorial of Unity! This week we have added in a health bar for our player and a new character. The bar looks great and I was happy to learn how to do one. I am glad I got to do one and see how it works. Screenshot of my own work. The bar was very simple to do compare to what I thought it would be like. I am very happy to be one week away from finishing the Unity tutorials.  I struggle with the animations to get it right so that took me quite a while to do for my new character but I managed it at the end! This is the first game that really feels like a game from all Unity tutorials we have completed so far.  I will see you all next week when I get to finish up this game! Thank you, Denis.
